 It took me much longer to read this book than I anticipated, and I think that is because when I got to chapter 2, or “The Second Choice / The Second Big Lie”, I just cried like this was the one chapter that God intended for me to read, and had to read it over several times. The second choice is: The Choice to Feel Your Life and the second big lie is: Real Christians should have a real peace in all circumstances. What a relief to read words written by someone else’s hand the feelings that I’ve felt for years and have never been allowed to express. I felt like I was reading an excerpt from my own life. It was also helpful to know that the author himself had come from painful circumstances and could be inspired to write such encouraging words. I will probably read this book again.
